| Mission
The Sourdine II project will produce the following
results:
1. Implementation Strategy for advanced environmental friendly approach
and departure procedures and supporting aircraft/ATC systems
2. Validation methodology for procedure/system development
3. Improved noise modelling tools for the validation of new procedures
with respect to noise
In addition, the Sourdine II consortium and expert
panel will provide a wide involvement of all stakeholders. This
has the potential to generate sufficient commitment for the European
(or world) wide implementation of the harmonised and optimised approach
and departure procedures.
More detailed information can be found in the executive
summary of the proposal
